I wasn’t expecting to be this moved by a piece of calligraphy, but wow. The Judo characters have a quiet power, and the magenta scroll brings life to the room. Everyone who visits asks where I got it. The included instructions were easy to follow. Feels like something I’ll keep forever.
Looks great but a bit smaller than I imagined for our dojo wall. Still, the message is powerful.

Ce kakemono me rappelle le judo lui-même : subtil, mais inébranlable. Je l’ai accroché près de mon tatami d’entraînement, et il apporte exactement l’énergie qu’il faut.
Le kakemono est superbe, sans aucun doute, et la calligraphie est puissante. Mais je m’attendais à quelque chose d’un peu plus long. Accroché dans le dojo, il semblait légèrement petit. Cela dit, il rend très bien à la maison et y trouve parfaitement sa place.
